Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–12 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Tiger Noodle House at (281) 974-4507; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is tigernoodletexas.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 1,092 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Houston.
Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

overall the food was really good. They do have quite a few gluten free options, but if you have celiac, I would definitely recommend asking a lot of questions before ordering. Some of their items are labeled gluten free but are not necessarily celiac safe because they use shared fryers. For example, the orange beef is labeled gluten free, but it’s fried in a shared fryer, so that would not be safe for someone with celiac. The gluten free dish we had was actually really good and the food in general was very tasty. I think the biggest thing is making sure you speak with a waiter who actually understands celiac and cross contamination. Some of the servers we spoke with were simply saying, “Yes, this is gluten free,” without considering things like shared fryers. If you have celiac, definitely ask questions like whether they have a shared fryer, how the food is prepared, and whether they can accommodate you safely. Once we figured out what was actually safe, we really enjoyed the food and I would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Tiger Noodle has exceptionally great food and I've been ordering takeout from them since 2020. They consistently get the entrees right every time. That said, if you're someone who enjoys the dipping sauces THAT COME with appetizers, be sure to have your order checked before you leave. The pork dumplings, especially.... have been a hit or miss when it comes to including the accompanying sauces. I've even mentioned this to the staff the last time I dined in, hoping it would improve, but unfortunately I've continued to have the same experience. It's a small detail, but definitely makes a difference. The food is still worth it..I just recommend double checking your order before heading home.

Wife and I went for an early dinner. Low key front in a semi-strip mall in the somewhat crowded Rice Village (parking can be difficult, but there are free street spots). Space was clean, well-decorated and inviting. Fairly extensive menu. Wife had Kung Pao chicken and was able to request no bell pepper and only 1/2 spicy - came out as requested. I had the Spicy Dan Dan (pork) noodle. Both entrees came out quickly. Portions were large. Both were seasoned well and very tasty. My Dan Dan had a little too much oil but otherwise was very good.

two of us had 3 dishes, 2 are good and one is below average. I will suggest you switch Chongching beef and chicken to something else, it’s toooooo oily but not flavorful.
